How Important are Mental Health Policies for Business?

Mental Health Means More Than Money. Many people have had time to reflect on their lives during the COVID lockdowns. And, the reality of these life-changing events made us come to terms with our mortality. People want happiness more than anything else, and money is just one way to increase it. The way you spend your time also matters.

When we spend time on jobs we don’t love, our mental health deteriorates. So, be sure to do mental health check-ins with your team. If you notice people are in a negative space, then work with them to make the environment better. In the short term, it may mean taking some responsibilities off of their plate. In the long term, it could even mean restructuring their job in a way that makes them both more productive and happier.
