Hello everybody out there my name is Pete Romano from Segwik and this is my snackable solution on how to get your contacts from your smart device and into your CRM so that you can make use of all of that good juicy data. Let’s dive right in.

Your smart device is a treasure trove of clients, potential contacts, referral agents, business colleagues, old customers, and family. Getting these contacts out of your device and into your CRM where you can put them to work is critical to your growth. We’re going to show you how to do that in under two minutes. If you’re an iPhone user just keep watching.

Now the first thing you’re going to want to do is to take your iPhone and go over to the settings page. Here at the top, click on your name. Then halfway down click on iCloud. Make sure that contacts is enabled. Click to merge, and you’re done on your device.

Then on a computer, go to icloud.com. After logging in, click on contacts. On the next page, look how amazing this is. All your phone contacts in one place ready to make value for you. Usually people will just select all and way down on the bottom of the left of the screen with that gear icon go ahead and click that. Then click export vcard. Save that somewhere convenient on your computer and we’re almost done.

For both iphone and android users here’s your final step. What you’re going to want to do is go over to this website you see on the screen. Choose the file here. Choose format CSV, change tab to comma, and click add header line. Voila, your contacts are now in CSV format, ready to import into your CRM.
